Joey McClellan, founder of Purple Couch Media, is a Film Director, Producer, Screenwriter, and Entrepreneur. Almost all of his life has been spent in the arts. Working as a record producer and audio engineer Joey discovered cinematography and directing through realizing the modern necessity of content marketing and taking on that role himself. Now approaching his 7th year in film production Joey's interest in the craft of film making has developed into a fascination.

Joey has garnered screenwriter credits from the comedian Anwar Jibawi as a staff writer for comedy skits that have amassed close to 10 million views. He’s Directed Talent such as, Paul Rodriguez Sr, Big Jah, Compton Menace, Frank Castillo, Leslie Lluvet, Mateen Stewart, Flee Lord, Audio Push, and more. He’s Produced projects and worked on feature films with Talent like Dove Cameron, RJ Mitte, Jim O Heir, Kirk Fox, Maz Jobrani, Chris Bylsma, Kevin Porter, Ben Gavin, Robert LaSardo, Palaye Royale, and more. Accumulating hundreds of videos and several films under his belt, thousands of hours of experience, on a variety of different projects, has lead to a confidence in his creative process to bring his own vision and the visions of others to fruition.
